Yesterday my parents and Aunt Brenda came into town and we went Christmas shopping for Abby. We got all kinds of things that I think she will really like. Then we all went to dinner. Abby was so good and we had such a good time with her. Also, she said "Ma-Ma" yesterday for the first time. And she repeated it a couple of times and said it again this morning. So that makes me happy. She is also on the verge of crawling. We have several cute pictures of her on all fours looking like she is trying really hard to crawl. She actually scooted herself across the living room this week and opened the cabinet at the bottom of the tv and was trying to get stuff out of it. This was our sign that we needed to start childproofing the house. Wow- she is almost mobile. I can't believe that.

We had such a good time with Abby - I mean all three of you. I don't think I can wait until Christmas to see her again. You guys don't have a Christmas party or two to go to that I can babysit, do you???? If not, I'll just have to crash your party and come and visit!!!

I've shown everybody the picture on my camera where she is cuddled with me and patting my shoulder. She is absolutely beautiful and so good. See you on the 21st at our cookie baking marathon at my house.

She looks so determined like she knows exactly what she wants. Adorable.
Oh Jona! Abby gets even cuter every time I see her. She looks so cuddly. Is she a cuddler? I like to imagine that she is. This is such a fun age! Everything is so brand new full of first times. How fun!
