Today Abby had her very first ballet class. Here are some pictures from Abby's class!! She had the best time and she can't wait to go back!!

Coloring Easter Eggs (and our kitchen table)!

On Thursday evening we decided it was time to color our Easter Eggs. I had gotten a glitter egg coloring kit and since Thursday was such a nice day we thought we would do the coloring and glittering outside. This was a good thought, but did not work out at we hoped. We got all of the eggs colored outside, but then we had to let them dry before we put glitter on them. By the time they were done drying, it was too chilly and windy outside to do the glitter part, so we had to do that part inside on the kitchen table. Needless to say there was glitter EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Abby and I sat at (on) the kitchen table to glitter the eggs and by the time we were done Abby's feet , hair, head, hands, legs, were all COVERED in glitter. As was my face, hands, and hair as well. Eric missed out on all of the glittering fun, but he did clean up the mess while I gave Abby a thorough bath. Needless to say she LOVED coloring the eggs and kept asking for more eggs.

3 Year Dr. Appt.

This past week Abby had her 3- year Dr. appt. Just to see how she is growing. At that appt. she weighed 26.5 lbs and was 35 1/4 in tall. This means that she is in the 15th percentile for weight and the 50th percentile for height. She has been in the 50th percentile for height her whole life, but her weight is finally landing normally on the chart. This appt. was different than her other ones had been because she is getting older. They took her blood pressure for the first time, which she did not mind at all. They also checked her back/spine to make sure it was straight and had her draw circles, all to check different developmental stuff. She was really cooperative and great the whole time. Then. the last thing they did was give her an immunization shot, that she was not so happy about. So. anyway, she passed her appt. with flying colors!

Another thing we did this week was go and get her 3- year pictures taken, as well as some family and maternity shots. The last pics as a family of 3 since I am now 33 weeks pregnant and the end is coming into sight quickly. Here are some of the pics that we had taken. I will also be posting pictures soon of the baby's room. We spent most of the week cleaning and painting and putting together furniture for his room. So once I have completely finished decorating, I will be posting some pics.

Abby's 3rd birthday party!

This past Saturday was Abby's 3rd birthday. We took her to the zoo for her birthday. I decided to have her party at the zoo because I decided that I was too pregnant to plan and clean for a party. And I have to say, having a party at the zoo was the best decision ever. The party was wonderful and everyone had a great time! And the zoo did such a good job on the party. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to have a good party. Here are a few pics from the party.

Hope the Hippo is one of the zoo mascots, one of the things that you get when you have a party is one of the 3 zoo mascots comes to the party!! Abby loves costume characters!!

We got to see the Giraffe and he was very cool. He kept coming up to the window and licking it.
